Meg Phillips

Meg is a 4th generation Lakelander. As a business professional, she leads Marketing for a global IT company, headquartered in the Washington DC area. She’s passionate about bringing new life to old homes and in her spare time, she invests in and renovates homes in Lakeland’s historic districts.

She is a Flagler College alumni and former Flagler women’s basketball player, a board member at the University of South Florida overseeing their Marketing department and a grounds committee member for Polk County’s first bilingual charter school, Mi Escuela Montessori. Additionally, Meg volunteers at First United Methodist Church and is a team leader for P.E.A.C.E (Polk Ecumenical Action Council for Empowerment).

Meg is currently converting an old charter bus into an RV. She looks forward to taking it on adventures with her husband, JP, and their 3 young children: Piper, Anniston & Ledger. When Meg is not working on home or bus renovation projects, she enjoys exploring central Florida’s freshwater springs, biking, kayaking and spending time on the Rainbow River.
