Diretta Wilcox, The Salvation Army
Diretta Wilcox was employed 12 years with Salvation Army and is now the owner of Divine Support Services, which provide services to persons with disabilities. She is also the President of a nonprofit called Diretta’s Baby, which provide scholarships to continuing college students from a single parent households. Diretta is retired from the State of Florida after 19 years of service is various positions and is active in the Lakeland community serving in roles such as Board President for the Lakeland Habitat for Humanity, Committee Member on the Ledger’s Newspaper with a Heat, Victim Practitioner for the Lakeland Police Department Victim Services, Board Member for Lakeland Vision, Member of the Education Enlightenment Group and Class Member of Leadership Lakeland Class XXXI. Diretta holds a B.S. in Public Administration and is the mother of one child.
